NOTICE OF BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETING Notice is hereby given that the Budget Committee of the City of Dayton wilt meet at 7:30 pro, Mon- day, May 12, 1980, in the City Hall of the City of Dayton, Oregon, to receive the budget document and the budget message explaining the budget document. Included in the budget will be the proposed uses of Federal and State Revenue Sharing Funds. This meeting is a public meeting where deliberations of the Budget Committee will take place, and any person may discuss proposed pro- grams with the Budget Committee. At the time of the meeting and after the meeting a copy of the complete budget document will be available for inspection at the Re- corder's office, City Halt, City of Dayton, Oregon. Arthur J. Johnson, Budget Officer City of Dayton Publish May 1, 8, 1980 NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the City of Dayton will hold a public hearing on the 19th day of May, 1980, at the hour of 7:30 p.m., in the Dayton City Hall, Dayton, Ore- gon, to consider a proposal to add a Park and Public Facility Zone to the Zoning Ordinance, Ordinance No. 360, and to make a Comprehensive Plan Map Change. The proposed zoning classifica- tion would permit the use of land so zoned for parks, sewage and water treatment plants, schools, munici- pal office buildings, fire station, public works buildings and yards, and cemeteries. A map locating the proposed zone will also be con- sidered. The proposed amendment to Or- dinance No. 360 may be adopted by legislative action of the Dayton City Council. The public is hereby in- vited to appear and be heard on Copies of the proposed amend- ment and map are available for public inspection and review at the Dayton City Hall, 416 Ferry Street, Dayton, Oregon. Dummer, superin- tendent of Dayton schools for 12 years, has resigned to become su- perintendent of Chenowith, Wash., School District. Dummer will succee, former Yamhill-Carlton superintendent Ray Hunsaker. Hunsaker's son now holed the Yamhill-Carlton post. The Chenowith district is slightly larger than Dayton, with 960 stu- dents to Dayton's 800. Chenowith has four schools, Dayton two.
