Friday and Saturday at the home
of her sister, Mr. and Mrs. Clar-
ence Stewart at Lebanon.
Mr. and Mrs. Harold Dunn
from Silverton spent Thursday
afternoon and evening at the
home of Mr. and Mrs. Lioen
Phelps.
Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Galer were
hosts for a dinner to celebrate
five birthdays in their family
Sunday. Those having birthdays
were two granddaughters, Teres-
sa of Eugene, and Kathy of Sher-
idan; two sons, Leonard of Eu-
gene and FentorL of Hopewell,
and Mr. Lloyd Galer. All of their
families were present for the din-
ner.
Mr. and Mrs. Bud Callahan vis-
ited Floyd Matthews from Sheri-
dan at the McMinnville hospital
Monday evening. On the way
home they stopped to visit Mr.
Sunday guests of Mrs. Rebecca
McKinley were Mr. and Mrs. Del-
mer Crowley of Roseburg and
Mr. and Mrs. Jess Solm of Salem.
On Saturday, Mr. and Mrs. Victor
Beier and Mrs. Georgia Mull of
Salem, and Mrs. Virginia Carson
and sons of Sweet Home were
guests.

The Hopewell Home Extension
Unit were entertained at the
home of Mrs. Mary Elliott on
Tuesday, Feb. 18, with 18 women
present. Mrs. Allen Robertson and
Mrs. Lloyd Rae gave the lesson
on diet and exercise, which was
helpful and informative. The

the Portland Dornbecker Hospital,
and is improved. Mrs. Wayne
Ojua accompanied Mrs. Allison to
Portland Wednesday to bring her
home.
Mrs. Lena Olke of McMinnville
was a Saturday guest of Mrs.
John Ojua and called on Mr. and
Mrs. Carl Pajala during the aft-
