Former Dayton Resident Dies Funeral services were held in Forest Grove last Thursday for E. J. Haevernick of Forest Grove, a former resident of Dayton. He died Feb. 18 in Indio, Calif at age 77. When he lived in Dayton, he was a patron of Electa Chapter of the Eastern Star. His wife taught at Dayton Grade School. They lived at 5th and Church Street. Kill Kare Klub Donates Quilt Ten members and two guests of the Kill Kare Klub enjoyed a boun- tiful pot luck dinner at noon in the home of Mrs. Bertha Merryman Thursday, Feb. 22.
