On Land Change
The Dayton Planning Advisory
Committee will hold a special
meeting Thursday, April 12 to hear

The nine acres is currently in or-
chard use and the remaining 48
acres is in row crops.
The Comprehensive Plan desig-
nation is "Agriculture/Forestry
Large Holding" and the parcel is
presently zoned "EF40".
The land is located northeast of
Grand Island Road, Rt. 1, Box 73,
Dayton.

are co-chairmen of the advisory
committee. The meetings are open
to the public.
Members Sought
For County
Energy Group
The Yamhill County Energy
Committee announces it is seeking
new members to fill vacancies in its
membership.
In general, the purpose of the
Committee is to increase public
awareness of the need to conserve
energy and to assist in the de-
velopment of countywide energy
resources. The committee serves to
advise the Board of Commissioners
on energy conserving measures,
policies and programs in the coun-
ty.
Last year, for example, the com-
mittee submitted a report that
recommended actions by which the
county could conserve gasoline in
its motor pool.
Yamhill County residents who
have interest and concern in the
use of energy are invited to inquire
about membership Call Tom Cun-
ningham, Energy Office, 472-9371
