o ,The primary election i~ Tues-
day, May 28th. I urge each eligi-
ble member of the community to
get out and vote. To those who
are not registered to vote, they
should go to the County Clerk's
office in the Courthouse, 5th and
Ford, MeMinnville and register.
They will not be eligible to vote
in the Primary, but will be enti-
tled to vote in the November
election. The only-requirement is
to be a citizen, residing at a cur-
rent address for at least 30 days.
A great majority of the people
in the county are dissatisfied
with conditions affecting them.
These conditions are due, mainly,
to poor representation in our
county, state and federal politi-
cal offices. During the Primary,
the voters will get a chance to
weed out some of the political
undesirables -- the ones who do

little or nothing for the majority
of the people, and too much for
the BIGGIES.
In our County Commissioner
race in District 1, I would like
to recommend TED LOPUSZYN-
SKI for the job. I have met and
discussed conditions in the coun-
ty with him many times, and I
believe he will do a better job
than the crickets we have chirp-
ing in there now.
Secondly, in the race for Coun-
ty Clerk, a young, intelligent and
energetic man by the name of
DENNIS BECKER gets my sup-
port for the job. He, too, is one
whom I have met with several
times, during his chairmanship
of the Yamhill County Democrat
Central Committee. This man is
a ball of fire, a great organizer,
and gets things right the first
time. He will make a good Coun-
ty Clerk.
For United States senator, I
highly recommend W A Y N E
MORSE. This man has proven

both honest with the people and and so will a lot of other:.,__.
outspoken for their good, which RAYMOND ft. KULBACK, SR.

politicians. Morse is still an ener-
getic and forceful representative
of the people's wishes.
LES AU COIN seems to me to
be the best of the bunch running
for Congress. This man has prov-

ture, and is a fighter for the
rights of the people.
JIM REDDEN suits me well
enough to run the state of Ore-
gon as governor. This individual
speaks out for the people, and
has done a good job as State
Treasurer. He will, I'ra sure,
bring the state of Oregon back
to the majority of the people
where it belongs.
I recommend a "NO" vote on
Measure 2. This measure is sup-
posed to take 8% of the money
from the State Highway Fund
and apply it to a mass transit
program. But, in reality, all it is
doing is giving the money to the
TriMet bus company in Portland
to help out the bus company in
its financial distress. The entire
state of Oregon will be assessed
to help out a private company
(and I don't think it will stop at
just 8% -- like a state sales tax
it would go upward). This mea-
sure is most misleading, and I
urge a "NO" vote.
Remember the date, TUES-
DAY, May 28th -- get out and
vote! You'll be happy you did,
