SAN ANTONIO -- Airman Judy
A. Dixon, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. John C. Dixon Jr. of Rt. 2,
Dayton, has been assigned to Cha-
nute AFB, Ill., after completing Air
Force basic training.
Airman Dixon will now receive
specialized training in the aircraft
equipment maintenance field.
The airman attended Dayton Ju-
nior and Senior High School.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS
CITY OF LAFAYETTE
The City of Lafayette will hold a
public hearing before the budget
committee at 7:30 P.M. June 14,
1978 at Lafayette City Hall to
consider possible uses of State &
Federal Revenue Sharing Funds,
including possible use as offset
against property tax levies. Citi-
zens are invited to provide written
or oral comments to the budget
committee regarding use of the
funds.
A second hearing will be held
before the City Council at 7:30
P.M. on June 28, 1978 on uses of
State and Federal Revenue Sharing
Funds proposed by the budget
committee. Copies of proposals will
be available for public inspection at
Lafayette City Hall after June 14,
1978. Citizens are invited to pro-
vide written or oral comments to or
ask questions of the governing
body at the hearing, on the
proposed use of the distributions in
relation to the entire City Budget
for the fiscal year 1978-1979 and
possible offset against property tax
levies by the City for the fiscal
year.
