Kenneth Galer from Eugene is spending a week at the home of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Galer. Another grandson Ronnie Galer is here from the reclamation center school at Nam- pa, Idaho, for a week. Kroweldeen Club met at the home of Mrs. Mina Carr last Thursday. Guests wer# Mrs. Ivan Gubser, Mrs. Jeni Cart and Mrs. Dorothy Cary. They all enjoyed delicious strawberry short cake for dessert. The next meeting will be at the home of Mrs Ver- non Foster. Fathers Day dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Mitchell were their daughter, Mr. and Mrs Merritt Carmichael of Portland, his sister, Mrs. Lora ]~itchell from MeMinnVfll~ Mrs. Robert Mitchell from Perrydale, and Mrs. Mary Hickert from New- berg. Mr. and Mrs. ArthurMosgrove spent Father's Day at the home of their son, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Mosgrove, at Salem. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Duzan spent fron~ Thursday to Monday visiting relatives on the coast. Mrs. Bei-nard Lippens of Cham- berlain, ~o. Dak., has arrived~gor a two weeks visit at the home of her mother and sister, Mrs. Lena Filer and Charlotte. The Filers went to the Portland airport Sat- urday to pick her up. Jennifer Jones, Terry • Noble Plan Wedding Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Jones of Salem announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer, to Terry Wayne Noble, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Noble. Terry is en~ployed at the "/-Up Bottling Co. of Salem and is a graduate of Dayton High School. Jennifer is a graduate of McNary High School of Salem, and is em- ployed as a bookkeeper in Sa- lem. A November 9 wedding is planned. McMINNVILLE GRANGE TO HAVE SPEAKER WEDNESDAY McMinnville Grange 31 will have an open meeting Wednesday, June 26, at 9 p.m. at McMinnville ,~i~t~ Grange Hall.
