Couple exchange wedding vows
The ueaverton Christian Church was the setting
Saturday, June 19 for the exchange of wedding vows
between Candace Sue Sullivan and Jeffrey Richard
Bornac. Pastor Don Cox officiated at the double ring
ceremony.

PDT on Friday, August 13,
1982 and thereafter opened
by the Board of Directors of
Yamhill County School Dis-
trict No. 8 or its authorized
representative in the Dis-
trict Office located at 526
Ferry Street, Dayton, Ore-
gon 97114 for:
Dust Collection system
for the Woodshop at Day-
ton Jr-Sr. High School.
Specifications are avail-
able at the District Office
at the location listed
above.
Prices are to be firm for
60 days.
The Board of Directors of
Yamhill County School Dis-
trict No. 8 reserves the fol-
lowing rights:
1) To reject any or all
bids and will be
bound only by its de-
termination as to the
best interest of the
district.
2) To waive any or all ir-
regularities in the
bids submitted.
3) In the event only one
bid is received, the
board may, at Its elec-

The bride, of 13210.Lakewood Dr. NE, Aurora, is the
daughter of Deward and Vera Sullivan of Amity. The
groom of 1789 NW 137th Ave., Portland is the son of
Richard and Shelby Bornac of Portland.
The bride carried a.bouquet of carnations and tiger's
lily and colors for the occasion were lavender, yellow
and white. The bride wore a lace gown and wide-
brimmed lace hat.
Matron of honor was Brenda Fay Thompson, the
bride's younger sister, who was married three weeks
ago. Bridesmaids were Pamela Scott, Carol Kennedy,
Robin Damore, and the groom's sister, Julie Bornac.
Best man was Terry Hancock and ushers were the
bride's brother, Brent Sullivan; Bob Kennedy, David
Adrian and Brian Harris.
The couple are at home at 13210 Lakewood Dr., NE,
A urora.
The bride is a graduate of Dayton High School ar/d
Linfield College and is presently employed as an Avon
district sales manager. The groom is a graduate of
Sunset High School in Beaverton and the University of
Oregon. He is an inventory control specialist for
Instromedix in Beaverton.
Honored guests at the ceremoney were the groom's
grandparents, Mrs. Dorothy Bornac and Mr. and Mrs.
Laurence Kerby, Peoria, Illinois and the bride's
grandparents, Willis and Josephine Sullivan of Amity.
The bride's brother, Barry Sullivan was unable to
attend because he was in Peru on vacation.
Anniversary slated
Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Woodward will be honored on
their 40th wedding anniversary at an open house
reception Sunday, Aug. 8 at the recreation hall at Old
Stone Village, Three Mile Lane, McMinnville. Friends
and relatives are invited to attend between 2 and 4 pm
and the couple requests no gifts.
Hosts for the reception are the children of the
honored couple.
Selma Allen and Clifford Woodward were married in
Vancouver, Wash., in 1942. He is retired and formerly
worked for Hudson House and Penland Gravel. Mrs.
Woodward formerly was employed by St@ton Canning
Co., telephone company and Home Laundry. The
couple have 22 grandchildren and 20 great grandchil-
dren.
Children of the couple are Darrel Woodward, Aums-
ville; Carolos Woodward, Escondido, Calif.; Mary
Johnson, Kyburg, CaliL; George Allen, Shedd; Lenore
Clarambeau, Sherwood and Evelyn Goulart, Carson
City, Nev.
'Annie Get Your Gun'
on stage at Gallery
Gallery Players is presenting the musical "Annie Get
Your Gun" which began Aug. 5. The musical will run
Thursdays through Sundays, through August 29th.
Friday, Aug. 20 will be a benefit night for the
McMinnville Kiwanis; Thursday, Aug. 26 will be a
benefit for the Yamhill County Democrats; and Friday,
Aug. 27 will be a benefit for the Yamhill County
Hospice. General admission tickets for those nights will
not be available.
The musical is directed by Ray Miller and the cast
includes Gall Grobey as Annie, Kevin Warr as Frank,
Tad Butterfield as Charlie Davenport, Marie Ruzicka as
Dolly Tate, Cody Eason as Buffalo Bill, Ed Rissberger
as Chief Sitting Bull, Ben Gutierrez as Pawnee Bill,
Karin Collins, Mia Jones and All and Jonah Michaud as
Annie's brother and sisters, together with a large and
talented supporting cast including Dave Carstensen,
Eric Chidsey, Martha Clarke, Charles Drabkin, Joy
Hughes, Tracie Kinion, Lora Monroe, Melissa and
Sarah Moore, Lydia Ross, Scott Sulak, Denise Swei-
gart, Lorraine Tinsley, Darryl Walker, Adam, Cindy
and Ed Wolfer, and Wendy Youngberg.

House of the Week
This house of the week is located at 1020 Ash Street.
Gordon and Mona Shepards moved into this house
several years ago and proceeded to fix it up so well that
it is a great asset to the City. Thanks so much for your
contribution to the fine look of our fair city.
Webfoot
Mr. and Mrs. Bill Shuck were Sunday dinner guests
of their son, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Shuck Jr. in Salem.
Mrs. Dorothy Ford accompanied Mrs. Marie Benjii-
min of Amity to Roseburg last weekend where they
were guests at Mrs. Benjamin's grandson's wedding.
He is Robert Paul and the bride's maiden name was
Patty Links. Dorothy and Marie stayed for the reception
and a visit with relatives there and returned Monday.
Mrs. Ercell Griggs received a surprise phone ",q•
Sunday informing her she was the winner of a id
dinner at the Kings Table.
Mrs. Betty Green of Fallbrook, Calif., spent ten days
with Mr. and Mrs. Frank Armentrout. She is Frank's
sister. While here they made several short sight-seeing
trips.
Mrs. Frank Armentrout returned last week from
Sacramento, Cal., where she had been visiting her son
and family after returning three of her grandchildren
who had spent three weeks here. They returned home
to California by Amtrak and enjoyed the trip very much.
A new baby arrived at their home while they were
visiting their grandparents here.
Garden Club holds
pot luck dinner in park
The Dayton Garden Club met Monday for its annual
pot luck dinner in the Dayton City Park. There were
seven members present to enjoy a bountiful dinner.
There was no lesson but a note from the Krake family
thanking the club for the contribution to the Baptist
Church was read.
The September meeting will be at the home of Mrs.
Audrey Lippens in McMinnville and the lesson will be
on gladioli and it will be the second Monday because of
Labor Day. Hilma Garrett was remembered at the
meeting.
KROWELDEEN CLUB MEETS IN SUMMERFIEL~ • ...............
Kroweldeen Club met last week at the home of Mrs.
Sophia Sherman in Summerfield. Winners were Verlee
Howard, Ann Budke, and Rita Beal. Mrs. Beal and
Myona Gray were guests. Refreshments were served
during the evening. The next meeting will be at the
home of Mrs. Ann Budke.
