To the editor:
Putt and I are tending our store from 7 to 9 pm each
evening during August and September.
Sometimes we spend a few minutes to admire our
beautiful green park.
Monday evening I was admiring the park and was
amazed to see a whole group of young people with gar-
bage bags and gloves and within just not very long, they
had every piece of trash picked up in the park and the
streets around the park. One of our customers told us she
was a group of youngsters on Water Street too, just as
busy.
We did find out that these youngsters belong to the
LDS Church.
We just want to tell you all "Thank You!"
It makes us very proud to live here in Dayton, Ore-
gon, USA.
