formed before the altar decorated
with white chrysanthemums and
candles.
The Church of the Heavenly
Rest, Princeton, West Virginia,
was the setting November 13 for
the wedding of Miss Linda Man-
ette Blevins, daughter of Mrs.
Douglas Winfred Blevins and the
lzde Mr. Blev~ns, to Dennis Baker,
Staff Sergeant United States Air
Force, son ~f Mr. and Mrs. Arthur
W. Baker of Dayton, Oregon. The

Escorted to the altar by her
twin brother, Stephen Blevins,
Norfolk, Virginia, the bride was
attired in an A-line wedding gown
of white peau do soie trimmed
with Venise lace. It featured bell-
shaped sleeves and a detachable
full chapel train. Her three tier
finger-tip veil of illusion was held
by a halo o{ Venise lace flowers
accented with seed pearls. She
carried white phalcenopsis orchids
on her prayer book with cascaded
ribbons and shattered carnations.
Miss Barbara Rose Blevins, sis-
ter of the bride, was maid of hon-
or. She wore a 'formal gown of
mauve surah, Juliet style with full
chiffon sleeves. Her dress was ac-
cented with grape velvet ribbon
and a matching headpiece. She
carried a styled arrangement of
chrysanthemums in hues of laven-
dar and violet. Miss Leigh Blevins,
niece of the bride, Norfolk, Va.
was flower girl. Her dress was the
same color and style as the honor
attendant. She carried an arrange-
ment of chrysanthemums in shades
o.f lavender and violet in an an-
tique glass basket.
Sergeant Baker was attended by
Sta'ff Sergeant Craig L. Hunter,
Alexandria, Virginia, as best man.

The ushers were William Blevins,

The bride's mother wore a grape
knit dress and an orchid corsage.
The bride's maternal grandmother
wore a plum ensemble with white
carnation Corsage. The bride's pa-
ternal grandmother wore a pink
wool dress with white carnation
corsage.
The reception following the
ceremony, was held at the Holiday
Inn. Miss Alice Wall, Athens, W.
Va. introduced guests. The bride's
table was overlaid with an heir-
loom linen and lace cloth and fea-
tured a four-tiered wedding cake
topped with an arrangement of
fresh white and lavendar chrysan-
themums. After the traditional
cutting of the cake was performed
by the bride and groom the cake
service was assumed by Mrs. Ste-
phen Blevins, s'ster-in-law o2 the
bride from Norfolk, Vs and by
Mrs. Thomas Harrison, Spring-
field, Virginia. The punch table,
also overl#.d with linen and lace
used a silver candelabra 'with
white lighted tapers and an ar-
rangement of chrysanthemums in
shades of lavender with ribbon
streamers. The punch in crystal
appointments was served by Miss
Rhea Arculeer and Mrs. Craig
Hunter, both of Alexandria, Va.
Miss Rosemary DeBoard, bride's
cousin from Ashland, Kentucky at-
tended the Bride's book. Rice sa-
chets were distributed by Alice
Lynn Sieweke and Norma fro De
Board, cousins of the bride from
Ashland, Kentucky.
After the honeymoon the couple
will reside in Arlington, Virginia
where both are employed at the
Defense Intelligence A g e n c y,
Washngton, D.C.
