The Hopeweil School program
was given Wednesday evening,
Dec. 26 and school closed for va-
cation Friday noon, until Jan. 7.
Mrs. Beulah Reed was a Christ-
mrs guest of her brother, Mr. and

Helvetia, for a family gathering.
Mr. and Mrs. H.L. Maguren
and David were Christmas guests
of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Pet-
er J. Frey of McMinnville.

were Mr. and Mrs. Hal Sheldon
and family and Joyce Sheldon,
all of Amity, and Mrs. Helmar
Torppa and Helmar Jr.
Russell Sargeant entered the
Veteran's Hospital in Portland on
Christmas night, for surgery on
Thursday.
Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Stohr of
North Plains were Tuesday, Dec.
18 guests of Mr. and Mrs. John
Geisler. Mr. and Mrs. Geisier
were Christmas guests of Mr. and
Mrs. Ralph Jaenicke and family
of Portland.
