Christmas guests of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Sargeant and family were Mr. and Mrs. Hal Sheldon and family and Joyce Sheldon, all of Amity, and Mrs. Helmar Torppa and Helmar Jr. Russell Sargeant entered the Veteran's Hospital in Portland on Christmas night, for surgery on Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Stohr of North Plains were Tuesday, Dec. 18 guests of Mr. and Mrs. John Geisler. Mr. and Mrs. Geisier were Christmas guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Jaenicke and family of Portland.
